Hand-Crafted Muppets Playset of the Day: Palisades Toys closed up shop in 2006, taking with it a proposed Muppet Theatre Backstage Playset which would have provided a place for its many Muppet Show Character figures to perform their classic skits.
Not one to sit idly by and watch a Muppet Theatre Backstage Playset proposal go unrealized, freelance set designer Lance Cardinal stepped in to finish what Palisades almost started.
Cardinal says:
Im sure Palisades would have done an amazing job…but I think I have done them justice. I have tried to capture the essence of the Palisades brand, including aesthetics, attention to detail and interactive fun!
